Bill Hess Named GM of Springfield Marriott

WASHINGTON, DC, Ocotber 24, 2007. Dave Grissen, Executive Vice President, Marriott's Eastern Region has announced Bill Hess, currently Resident Manager of the Seaview Resort & Spa, has accepted the position of General Manager of the Springfield Marriott in downtown Springfield, Massachusetts.
Bill started his career with Marriott in 1983 as a Reservations Manager at the Stamford Marriott in Stamford, Connecticut. He has extensive room operations experience, most notably, being the Resident Manager at both the Boston Quincy Marriott and the Boston Newton Marriott.
Bill is a member of Regional ZEN Project Team and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management from Michigan State.
