Comprehensive Suite of Solutions

. October 14, 2008

SEPTEMBER 20, 2007. Agilysys, Inc. (Nasdaq: AGYS), a leading provider of innovative IT solutions, including specifically-designed hospitality industry solutions, announced today that Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, Md. has selected Agilysys to provide a comprehensive suite of property management and document imaging solutions. The 2,000-room property is scheduled to open in April 2008.

Gaylord National will use the Lodging Management System (LMS) by Agilysys, an integrated property management software solution, to streamline efficiency and enhance guest service throughout the hotel. LMS and its modules handle everything from online reservations to settlement at check-out, making it one of the hospitality industry's most powerful and versatile property management systems. LMS ResNet, a Web-based real-time reservation system, will enable Internet travel shoppers to book room reservations directly into the LMS property management system. LMS Guest eMarketing (GeM), a comprehensive guest correspondence and marketing management solution, will allow the hotel to conduct surveys and e-mail marketing campaigns using an internal server control that continuously reviews reservations that meet user-defined criteria.

Agilysys hospitality solutions are also used at the hotel's sister properties - Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, Tenn.; Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Kissimmee, Fla.; and Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas.

"Agilysys has been a trusted business partner to Gaylord Hotels for many years," said Bruce A. Davis, director of information technology, Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center. "The Lodging Management System is the current standard at all Gaylord properties, and it will be one of the mission-critical systems that run the company's newest hotel. LMS automates every aspect of hotel operations with systems that greatly enhance the guest experience. It also allows the incorporation of additional vendor-supplied modules for improved efficiency and provides seamless connectivity between the hotel and outside vendors. The Agilysys comprehensive suite of solutions will enable us to deliver the high level of guest service that is expected from a Gaylord property, while maximizing hotel productivity and profitability."

In addition to LMS, Gaylord National will implement the InfoGenesis POS by Agilysys, a robust point-of-sale software solution that combines powerful reporting and configuration abilities with a touch-screen Windows Terminal Application (WTA), to personalize guest service and increase revenue. "The hotel also will use the DataMagineTM patented document management solution from Agilysys, which scans, indexes and retrieves documents and computer reports, to streamline recordkeeping and archive data."

"Gaylord Hotels are recognized for providing impeccable service and memorable guest stay experiences, and we are proud to be a key technology partner in its newest venture," said Tina Stehle, senior vice president, Agilysys Hospitality Solutions. "Our comprehensive suite of solutions, including our new Guest eMarketing program, will enable Gaylord National to meet and even exceed guest expectations and gain a distinct advantage over the competition."

Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center will be a focal point of National Harbor, a waterfront retail, dining and entertainment destination located minutes from the nation's capital. A world-class property covering more than 40 acres, Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center will feature 2,000 guest rooms; seven restaurants and eateries; retail shops; private marina; 20,000-square-foot spa and fitness center; and 470,000 square feet of exhibition and meeting space. The property is owned and operated by Gaylord Entertainment Company (NYSE: GET).
