. October 14, 2008

HOT SPRINGS NATIONAL PARK, AR, August 29, 2007. The Labor Day fireworks display, a longtime end-of-summer tradition in Hot Springs, will be held at dusk on Sunday, September 2, on Lake Hamilton.

The spectacular display, which annually attracts thousands of people to the lakeshore pyrotechnics, will be held at dusk from the PowerBoats location on Anthony Island at the south end of the Highway 7 causeway, according to Scott McClard, chairman of the Hot Springs Advertising and Promotion Commission.

"We invite all Arkansans and visitors to join us in celebrating the end of summer in Hot Springs National Park with this annual tradition," McClard said. "Whether you enjoy the show from your boat or from the shore, this is a family spectacular that matches any fireworks display in this region."

The fireworks are sponsored by the Schueck Family, Leon and Betty Millsap, Clarion Hotel and the Hot Springs Convention and Visitors Bureau.
