Philippe Duverger Named General Manager of the New Radisson Hotel in Largo, MD
LARGO, MD, September 13, 2005. AMC Delancey Group, Inc., a Philadelphia-based national real estate investment company, and its partner, Paramount Hotel Group, LLC, announced that Philippe Duverger has been named general manager of the new Radisson Hotel in Largo, Maryland.
Philippe began his career in the food and beverage industry in his native France at 15 years of age. While attending culinary school, Philippe worked as a pastry chef and cook. He has also worked in the Accor chain for 20 years in many countries including France, Spain and England, as well as ran the Caf'e de Paris in Chicago, a French gourmet restaurant. Most recently, Philippe was general manager of the Hotel Sofitel in Washington, D.C.

Philippe holds a master's degree in Business Administration in Management and Marketing of Services from Athabasca University in Alberta, Canada.
Formerly known as the Doubletree Club Hotel, the 184-room, six-story hotel was acquired by the joint venture in 2005 and is currently undergoing a major renovation. Located off the I-95/495 Beltway in the Inglewood Business Center, the new Radisson Hotel is situated within a major suburban office market northeast of Washington DC, near numerous corporate and government demand generators. In addition, the hotel is within close proximity to FedEx Field, home of the Washington Redskins; and the new "Boulevard at the Capital Centre" retail center. The Blue Line of the D.C. area Metro has now been extended to Largo Town Center, nearby the property. The new Radisson will open in October of 2005.
