NEW YORK, NY, February 12, 2008. Soothing big city stress is at the heart of Affinia Hotels' new SPAffinia service. Launched at New York's Affinia Gardens, A Tranquil Suite Hotel, the in-room spa program is available at Affinia's four hotels in New York, and will debut at the Affinia Chicago and The Liaison Capitol Hill, An Affinia Hotel in Washington, D.C. both opening in April 2008.

SPAffinia taps top spa therapists in each city to provide a specially designed menu of massages, facials and hand and foot treatments utilizing all natural oils and essences. Whether seeking a cure for jet-lag or to simply soothe sore feet after a day of meetings or walking the city, guests will find SPAffinia's menu of services are designed to both rejuvenate and restore balance in the comfort and privacy of their rooms.

"Spa services now rank at the top of services and amenities most important to guests," said John Moser, chief marketing officer, Affinia Hotels. "At Affinia, we decided to take it a step further, so all our guests have to do is relax. No taxis, no walking, no wait." In-room services are available 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and include:

o Signature Massage - Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Reflexology or a customized massage treatment with a stress-busting combination of any or all techniques.

o Aroma Akta Message - A sensory balancing aromatherapy massage experience with choice of four Akta blends infused with essential oils.

o Calm Mind Massage -Temples and scalp are massaged with Calm Mind Oil, a restorative blend of peppermint and lavender.

o Revitalizing Hot Stone Massage -Smooth, polished river rocks are heated and used to massage the body. Stones are left on the body in patterns that balance energy centers.

o Purifying Facial - Designed for unbalanced skin, the facial treatment detoxifies and benefits the complexion. Signature anti-inflammatory Moor Mud Masque calms, soothes and promotes cell turnover.

o Skin Refining Facial - Stimulating and rejuvenating facial polishes the skin while stimulating repair and cell renewal. Gommage Vegetal uncovers the radiance of fresh, new skin with gentle exfoliating beadlets in an eleven plant oil moisturizing base.

o Chamomile Hand and Foot Treatment -An aromatherapeutic foot soak with Chamomile Bath, the hands and feet are buffed and polished using Chamomile body scrub, a luxurious French pumice that balances and brightens skin.

o Eucalyptus Hand and Foot Treatment - This Turkish Body Scrub is an invigorating blend of sea salt, eucalyptus and lavender that works together to loosen the most stubborn dry skin and calluses.
