Accor North America Names Director of Risk Management
MAY 9, 2007. Accor North America, one of the largest hotel chain owner and operators in North America, announces the promotion of Dorina Hertner to Director of Risk Management. Hertner's responsibilities include coordinating efforts internally to develop and implement a worker safety program and assuming management of the claims and risk financing groups.
Hertner's career in risk management spans over 13 years in various roles within the field, bringing experience in budgeting, risk financing and actuarial analysis to her position at Accor North America. Since joining Accor North America as Risk Manager in January of 2006, Hertner established monthly reporting to the field, evaluating loss trends and reducing vendor fees while championing several internal and external projects. A native of Amarillo, Texas, Hertner holds a Bachelor of Science in Math from Texas Tech University.
