BOSTON, MA, May 1, 2007. The Westin Copley Place Boston is pleased to announce the appointment of Edward Stanton as Hotel Manager for Boston's premier 803-room contemporary luxury hotel located in the city's charming and fashionable Back Bay. In this role, Stanton will oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel and its individual departments.

"We are thrilled to welcome Ed back to The Westin Copley Place Boston," says Hotel General Manager, Michael Jorgensen. Stanton has more than twenty years of experience in hotel management and has been with Starwood Hotels & Resorts for nearly twenty years. He comes to the Westin Copley Place Boston from the Sheraton Lexington and was involved in transitioning that property into Starwood's new aloft and Westin element concepts.(Both these properties are expected to open in 2008). "I am delighted to be back at The Westin Copley Place Boston," says Stanton. "I have such fond memories of my time here, in large part because of the people who still work here. It's great to see so many familiar faces and to be working at an upscale Back Bay property that is so well respected and admired by both our clients and industry peers."
