STAMFORD, CT, February 14, 2008. Antares Investment Partners today announced plans for a world-class hotel and spa, and the team leading the effort, in a continuation of their redevelopment of Harbor Point, a six-million, square-foot waterfront project in Stamford.

The new hotel will consist of approximately 115 rooms and suites and lobby-level attractions such as a wine bar, art gallery, library, bakery and caf'e. In addition, the hotel will feature a world-class spa and fitness center, two meeting rooms, and a roof-deck infinity pool. The hotel will also offer 54 residential condominiums with hotel amenities on the upper five floors of the building.

The facility will be managed by the internationally-known team of Jonathan and Nicole Wise who have extensive luxury hotel experience in the United States, Europe and Mexico.

Today's announcement comes days after Antares celebrated the opening of a new gallery and studio space at Harbor Point for the Loft Artists Association, a Stamford-based artist organization.

"Our dreams of redeveloping Harbor Point into a destination for living, dining, working and shopping are starting to come alive," said James Cabrera, co-founder and managing partner of Antares Investment Partners.

"We are thrilled to have the Wises join our team of Harbor Point professionals," said Lori Ordover, president of marketing and residential sales for Antares Real Estate. "From the Delamar in Greenwich, Connecticut, to the Ritz Hotel in Paris, from The Mark in Manhattan to Villa Del Sol in Mexico, Jonathan and Nicole bring, literally, a world's worth of luxury-class hotel experience to our newest development on Harbor Point."

"This hotel project is an important aspect of Harbor Point, one of the largest redevelopment projects in the United States. Needless to say, I can't wait to help create a new luxury destination that will redefine this historical district in Stamford as well as the entire region," said Jonathan Wise.

"For 20 years I've provided world-class experiences for my hotel guests," said Nicole Wise. "I will bring this experience to Harbor Point in creating a one-of-kind spa our guests will remember and return to."

The Wises' most recent experience was at the Delamar Hotel in Greenwich, Connecticut, where they transformed an entry-level motel into a luxury hotel, restaurant and marina.

Working with the Wises on the hotel at Harbor Point will be Perkins Eastman, an international architecture, urban design and interior design firm and Sasaki Associates, landscape architects.
