ATLANTIC CITY, February 27, 2008. Harrah's Resort Atlantic City unveils the final phase and centerpiece of the property's $550 million renovation and expansion project on March 6, 2008, with the official opening of its new 960-room, 44-story Waterfront Tower. Reaching grand new heights at 525 feet, The Waterfront Tower becomes the tallest building in Atlantic City and the second tallest building in New Jersey, boasting some of the finest rooms and suites in Atlantic City. The Waterfront Tower also increases Harrah's hotel capacity by nearly 60 percent, with a total of 2,590 guest rooms and suites.

The first 12 floors of the extraordinary Waterfront Tower will be unveiled during a celebratory March 6th ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by Gary Loveman, Chairman of the Board of Harrah's Entertainment, J. Carlos Tolosa, Eastern Division President of Harrah's Entertainment, R. Scott Barber, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Harrah's Resort and Atlantic City, and The Honorable Jon S. Corzine, Governor of the State of New Jersey, along with Harrah's executives, state and local government officials, industry influencers, community partners, construction management team, Harrah's employees and members of the media.

Along with The Waterfront Tower, the array of new and enhanced amenities at Harrah's Resort introduces tantalizing options in dining, retail, accommodations, spa and entertainment options.

"The aggressive expansion of our landmark marina property has transformed Harrah's Resort Atlantic City from a traditional day-trip property into a magnetic regional destination resort with luxury amenities, delivering to both our loyal and new guests a rich and welcoming recreational experience," notes Barber.
