Crestline to Manage New Hilton Garden Inn, Opening Spring 2009
MAY 22, 2008.Crestline Hotels & Resorts, Inc. today announced its appointment as the management company for the new Hilton Garden Inn Blacksburg, VA. The 137 guestroom hotel is under construction and is scheduled to open in the Spring of 2009.
The hotel is owned by a joint venture between Alliance Hospitality, a private equity joint venture real estate fund created by Barcelo Crestline Corporation (the parent company of Crestline Hotels & Resorts) and Armada Hoffler, a leading commercial real estate and construction company, along with Bruce Smith Enterprise, LLC. Alliance Hospitality was created to focus on the development and construction of high-quality hotels and also owns the 236 guestroom Westin Virginia Beach hotel which opened in November 2007.
The Hilton Garden Inn Blacksburg is located near the campus of Virginia Tech at 900 Plantation Road, Blacksburg, VA 24061. The select service hotel will include 1,280 square feet of divisible meeting space plus an additional 850 square feet of pre-function space that opens to an outdoor patio. There will also be a full-service 1,645 square foot restaurant and bar, as well as a fitness center, and indoor pool and spa area. Additional amenities include a business center, and a guest laundry.
