. October 14, 2008

MAY 27, 2008. Dreams Palm Beach Punta Cana will debut in December 2008 following a $25 million dollar enhancement of existing resort Sunscape Punta Cana. This will be the third Unlimited-Luxury(R) Dreams Resort & Spa property in the Dominican Republic.

The newly-enhanced resort will close June 1, 2008 to undergo the transformation, and then reopen December 01, 2008 with an extensive offering of first-class amenities and services. As the property transforms into Dreams Palm Beach Punta Cana, it will treat couples and couples with children to Unlimited-Luxury(R) where everything is included, within an unparalleled tropical setting.

Located along the Dominican Republic's east coast, Dreams Palm Beach Punta Cana sits on one of the Island's most spectacular palm studded beaches with endless blue waters stretching to the horizon offering a perfect setting in paradise. Guests can expect a high level of luxury and ambiance at the new resort that will delight visitors.

"We are thrilled to bring another Unlimited-Luxury(R) resort to Punta Cana with Dreams Palm Beach Punta Cana," said Kevin Wojciechowski, vice president of sales & marketing of AMResorts, parent company of Dreams Resorts & Spas. "We are confident that both new and returning guests will be delighted by all the enhancements underway throughout the resort. This is an exciting new destination on the perfect palm-studded beach for guests who have experienced and love all that the Dreams brand has to offer."

Upon arrival, guests will be greeted by a completely new lobby and main entrance. A totally rebuilt lobby bar, retail shops, Internet area, deli caf'e and elegant restrooms will face the reception area, which with the administrative offices, will be relocated to the opposite side of the lobby.

Dreams Palm Beach Punta Cana will boast 500 deluxe guest rooms including 40 magnificent and spacious suites, and feature 24-hour room service, daily refreshed mini bars, an array of gourmet dining experiences, exquisite full-service bars serving premium brands and much more. All rooms will feature new king, queen and double size beds, furniture, flat screen TVs, MP3 docking stations and upgraded decor. Bathrooms also will be completely renovated to include a Jacuzzi or new spacious showers along with elegant countertops and vanities.

A new, more luxurious, Preferred Club and private lounge will replace the existing Preferred Club lounge and pool, and a new "quiet" zone area is being created complete with Jacuzzis and gazebos to provide the ultimate in relaxation. The resort's Preferred Club rooms and suites offer guests an even higher level of service, with 24-hour concierge service, upgraded amenities, daily afternoon and evening hors d'oeuvres, private check-in and check-out, a private beach area and more. In addition to the above amenities, Preferred Club Suites all offer king size beds, Jacuzzi and living areas with an additional television and DVD/CD player.

The resort's multi-million dollar renovation calls for the addition of a new larger pool as well as enhancements to the existing pool. Other additions include hammocks on the outside of all ground-floor rooms and suites, and wireless Internet access throughout the hotel.

Guests will also delight in the new fully-enhanced dining experience that will be offered at Dreams Palm Beach Punta Cana provided by four new gourmet restaurants housed in a brand new, beautifully designed, two-story building. Along with a well-stocked contemporary wine cellar, bar area and expansive outdoor terrace for guests' enjoyment, the building also will feature new furniture, d'ecor, sound and light systems and a state-of-the-art kitchen. The varied culinary offerings will include: Asian Himitsu restaurant, Mexican El Patio restaurant, French restaurant Bordeaux, and Italian restaurant Portofino.

Other on-site dining options include the addition of a new ocean front Seaside grill featuring a variety of fresh seafood, and the Chief Burger snack bar for more casual dining on the beach. The existing Buffet also will be re-themed as a "World Caf'e" with different culinary stations and enhanced with new furniture, d'ecor and equipment. In total, guests will have more than eight dining and bar options to choose from throughout their stay.

Couples with children will appreciate the resort's brand new Explorers' Club for Kids, which is exclusively for younger guests ages 3 - 12 with fully-supervised activities and a new kids' pool. Also, the property will invest more than one quarter million dollars in the addition of a new dedicated "Core Zone" Teen's Club to cater to the needs and desires of its teen guests. Kids over 13 years of age will enjoy amenities including archery, billiards, video games and more. This will be among the first of the Dreams Resorts & Spas properties to feature the Teen's Club program.

Additionally, a new Convention Center consisting of approximately 2200 square feet will be constructed and include an open foyer, computer stations, a ballroom with variable layouts, multiple break-out rooms, and a theatre with state-of-the-art equipment, making it the perfect venue for meetings and incentive travelers. The property's existing convention facilities will be converted into a Desires Nightclub and Music Lounge and a Casino for added adult entertainment.

For those seeking relaxation, the 5,400 square foot Spa will feature indigenous techniques and ingredients designed to refresh, renew, and invigorate the body with a menu of over 30 restorative treatments. The Spa will have a sublime atmosphere of pure indulgence and offers seven luxurious indoor and outdoor treatment rooms, a hydrotherapy area featuring a Turkish bath, indoor Jacuzzis and showers, sauna and steam bath to complete the stimulating and peaceful experience. The Spa also will feature a full service beauty salon for hair treatments, waxing and manicure and pedicure services, and is adjacent to a fully-equipped Fitness Center.

The transformation of this property is part of the company's aggressive plan to double the Dreams brand portfolio and add more than 2,000 rooms and suites in just two years. Two other resort transformations include: Sunscape Casa del Mar La Romana, which will become Dreams La Romana Resort & Spa in December 2008 after extensive renovations including the addition of Preferred Club accommodations. Sunscape Puerto Aventuras is completing property upgrades to reopen as Dreams Puerto Aventuras Resort & Spa in November 2008.
