Benchmark Appoints Kathy Wooten Director of Training
Will Oversee Training Initiatives for Benchmark's 5,200 Employees
HOUSTON, TX, June 11, 2008. Benchmark Hospitality International has appointed Kathy Wooten as director of training for the global hospitality management company located near Houston. John Wood, vice president for human resources, made the announcement. Ms. Wooten will be based at Benchmark's Home Office in The Woodlands.
"It is with great delight that I welcome Kathy to Benchmark Hospitality International as director of training," stated Mr. Wood. "She comes equipped with extensive experience having worked with major brands within our industry."
Ms. Wooten will be responsible for spearheading the Benchmark University program, an employee educational curriculum. She will also oversee the training initiatives for all of Benchmark's 5200 employees worldwide.
For the past five years, Kathy Wooten served as corporate marketing manager and corporate training manager for Omni Hotels. She has been employed in similar positions with Adam's Mark Hotels and for Fairmont Hotels & Resorts in Dallas.
Wooten received a degree in Business Administration from Sam Houston State University, located in Huntsville, Texas. She resides in Conroe, Texas.
