Pamela Suhr Joins DHG as SVP, Operations

SEPTEMBER 17, 2008. In her new position, Suhr will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of DHG's portfolio of 12 properties across three brands: Affinia Hotels, The Benjamin and The James.

Pamela A. Suhr has joined New York-based Denihan Hospitality Group (DHG) as senior vice president, operations. Suhr brings more than 24 years of hospitality industry experience, honed with leading hospitality companies. In her new position, Suhr will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of DHG's portfolio of 12 properties across three brands: Affinia Hotels, The Benjamin and The James. 'Pamela's expertise in acquisition and development, combined with her broad experience in operations, is a perfect fit as DHG enters an exciting period of rapid growth,' says Brooke Barrett, co-CEO of DHG.

Most recently, Suhr was chief operating officer of Crescent Hotels and Resorts in Fairfax, VA. Prior to joining Crescent, she was senior vice president, operations and development for HEI Hotels and Resorts, a leading hospitality investment growth and management company based in Norwalk, CT. During her four-year tenure, she also served as senior vice president, sales and marketing. > From 1989 to 2003, Suhr held senior management positions with Interstate Hotels and Resorts in Washington, D.C. Over the 14-year period, she played a role in taking the once-privately held company from 23 properties to 400 through a series of mergers and an IPO.

Suhr is a graduate of Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Business with an emphasis on Marketing. She is a member of Meeting Planners International and the American Society of Association Executives.
