Kor Realty Group Names Frank Iaffaldano President and Partner
Southern California-based Kor Group welcomes veteran professional to executive team
LOS ANGELES, CA, October 11, 2005. Brad Korzen, CEO and founder of the Los Angeles-based real estate development and management firm, The Kor Group, is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Frank Iaffaldano as President of Kor Realty Group. In his new role, Frank will oversee all operating divisions, with an emphasis on the management of Kor's Acquisitions, Development, Construction and Project Groups and their coordination for effective long term planning.
"Frank brings to our company an extensive background in real estate law, including acquisitions and sales, construction, leasing and financings," said Korzen in announcing the appointment. "He also possesses a close familiarity with Kor operations that positions him, from the outset, as a versatile and skilled player in The Kor Group. I have known and worked with Frank for the past ten years and am honored to add his expertise to the Kor senior executive team."
Already expertly versed in Kor's growth trajectory, Frank joins the company after serving as its outside legal counsel for over ten years, most recently as a partner in the Law Firm of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker in Los Angeles. Frank began his career as an associate at Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton in 1989, and became a partner in that firm in 1998. In 2001, he joined the Los Angeles office of Paul Hastings Janofsky & Walker as a partner in the Real Estate Department and a member of the firm's Recreation and Resort practice group. Frank has extensive experience handling acquisitions, sales, construction and development matters, leasing and real estate financings. In addition to Kor, his past clients included a broad range of institutional and private clients, including Cornerstone Real Estate Advisers, Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company, Lubert-Adler, TIAA-CREF, Pulte Homes, Alliance Commercial Partners, Broadreach Capital Partners, AEW, Interstate Hotels, Angelo Gordon Funds, General Investment & Development, Haverford Capital and Amgen. He has worked with many types of real estate, including hotel, resort, office, retail, industrial, multi-family, condominium and mixed-use projects. Frank received a B.A. degree in Political Science, as well as his J.D., from Northwestern University.
