Lansdowne Resort Welcomes Jake Hatch as New Director of Sales and Marketing
Lansdowne Resort is welcoming back a familiar face and accomplished leader, Jake Hatch, as its new Director of Sales and Marketing. A seasoned hospitality executive with a deep connection to the resort, Hatch brings a wealth of industry experience and a proven track record of success.
Hatch's journey with Lansdowne began in 2017, when he joined the team as National Sales Manager. During that tenure, he played a pivotal role in attracting new corporate clients and elevating the resort's presence in key markets. In addition to driving revenue, he also mentored incoming sales managers and was promoted to Associate Director of Sales.
Most recently, Hatch served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Kingsmill Resort, where he led a transformative effort to rebuild the sales and planning teams while overseeing marketing and public relations strategies. Under his leadership, Kingsmill reclaimed its competitive standing in the Virginia hospitality market.
Hatch's career has also included leadership roles at premier destinations such as the Sanderling Resort, Skamania Lodge, Nemacolin Woodlands Resort, and the Greenbrier. Each role further shaped his approach to sales strategy, guest experience, and brand development.
"Jake is well qualified to lead our resort's sales and marketing initiatives with renewed energy and insights gained from his breadth of hospitality experiences," said Carol Smith, Managing Director, Lansdowne Resort. "He will play an essential role in strengthening the brand and supporting the broader mission of the resort's ownership."
Hatch, his wife, Rachel, and their young daughter will be relocating back to the area, reaffirming his long-standing connection to the Northern Virginia community.
