Gateway Canyons Selects Solution Suite from Agilysys

Resort Implements Property Management, Inventory and Procurement, POS Solutions

BOCA RATON, FL, September 30, 2008. Agilysys, Inc. (Nasdaq: AGYS), a leading provider of innovative information technology and hospitality software solutions, announced today that Gateway Canyons in Gateway, Colo. has selected a comprehensive solution suite from Agilysys, including property management, inventory and procurement, point-of-sale and guest marketing, to streamline operations at the resort, which includes the Dolores River Inn, Canyon Casitas and Kiva Lodge.

"We wanted a single vendor that could provide technology that manages everything from accounting to reservations," said S. Lee Bowden, president and general manager of Gateway Canyons. "After an exhaustive review of software solutions that could meet our current and future needs, we decided the Agilysys offerings fit the bill. The company's solutions will enable us to maximize productivity and profitability and deliver a high level of guest service. Gateway Canyons has implemented the following solutions:

o Visual One Property Management System by Agilysys, a comprehensive and fully integrated property management solution that offers a variety of features and functionality, including front office operations, guest history, housekeeping, reservations management, room maintenance and more. Gateway Canyons will use the Visual One Activities module to manage the resort's many amenities and activities and the Visual One Sales & Catering module to manage meeting room and banquet operations.

o Stratton Warren System (SWS) by Agilysys, a full-featured inventory and procurement solution that maximizes purchasing power and reduces revenue losses. Gateway Canyons will use the SWS Bar Coding module for wireless data collection of inventory; the SWS Menu/Recipe Analysis module to build recipes that maximize revenue; and the SWS Retail module to calculate sales prices, markdowns and updates in the resort's retail shops.

o InfoGenesis POSTM by Agilysys, an enterprise-ready point-of-sale solution that combines powerful reporting and configuration capabilities with an easy-to-use touch-screen terminal application. Designed for multi-unit operations commonly found in hospitality environments, the InfoGenesis POS will manage dining, bar service and retail venues at Gateway Canyons.

o Guest eMarketing (GeM) by Agilysys, a feature-rich guest correspondence and marketing management solution. Using GeM, Gateway Canyons can keep in touch with guests through HTML-based correspondence, surveys and marketing campaigns.
