"Darren will head up Outrigger's aggressive expansion into Asia," said David Carey, president and chief executive officer of Outrigger. "In the two short years since starting our efforts in Asia, we have announced the acquisition of properties in Bali and Phuket, with discussions now underway for additional properties in Phuket and Koh Samui in Thailand and in Sanya, Hainan Island, China. Darren has been at the forefront of these acquisitions and negotiations, and we look forward to his continuing leadership as we grow the Outrigger brand further in Asia."
