Ritz-Carlton, Palm Beach Welcomes Christine M. DiRocco as DPR

OCTOBER 16, 2008. The Ritz-Carlton, Palm Beach is pleased to announce the appointment of Christine DiRocco as public relations director for the newly renovated luxury beachside resort. In her new position, DiRocco will be responsible for promoting the hotel's re-launch and completion of a $100 million renovation to all 310 guestrooms and suites, public and meeting spaces, restaurants and more. DiRocco will also oversee the introduction of the hotel's grand 41,000-square-foot Eau Spa in spring 2009, as well as provide support to Director of Sales and Marketing Reggie Dominique.

DiRocco boasts a wealth of industry experience from a number of respected establishments. She has spent the past nine years as director of catering and conference manager at Palm Beach, Fla.'s four-star resort, The Breakers. During this time, DiRocco managed all logistics of large-scale meetings, retreats and events for several high-profile Fortune 500 companies, while also managing her own staff and vendors. She won several sales and service awards for her work. Previously, DiRocco held marketing and catering managerial positions at Reed's River House, Evangeline Restaurants and Max's Beach Place in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., where she excelled in increasing group sales and developing and launching catering programs.

DiRocco earned her bachelor's degree in marketing from Northeastern University in Boston. She has remained active with numerous community service projects and clubs, including memberships with the local Women's Chamber of Commerce and Young Friends of the Kravis Center. DiRocco also enjoys volunteering time with Habitat for Humanity, as well as doing hurricane clean-up and recovery with the South Florida Science Museum.
