Trust International Establishes Interface with Booking.com
AMSTERDAM, NL / FRANKFURT, Germany, October 17, 2008. Leading hotel CRS provider Trust International has established a direct interface with the Booking.com portal, simplifying the reservation process for hotels as well as bookers. The new cooperation with Booking.com is part of Trust's ongoing commitment to provide interfaces to third parties, property management systems (PMS), revenue management systems (RMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) providers.
The new Trust|IDS Connect interface enables hotels to directly relay updated booking information to Booking.com, thereby eliminating the need to perform time-consuming manual extranet updates, or confirm reservations by fax and telephone. Rates and availability can be maintained via a single source, and reservations can be received directly into the hotel system.
"As Europe's leading online hotel reservations agency, attracting over 20 million internet visitors per month, Booking.com now has easier access to the rates and availability of the hotel partners working with Trust International. This includes hotel partners in the new markets that we are currently developing," says Martin Lamme, Manager of Interface and Connectivity at Booking.com. "We now have access to the most up-to-date rates and availability of the hotels that work with us through Trust."
"Our partnership with Booking.com is of great benefit to our hotel customers because it saves them valuable time. This time would previously have been spent completing manual updates to Booking.com," says Candida Toro, Global Account Management at Trust International. "This is another important step in our direct connect strategy, where we connect important internet distribution channels directly to our Voyager|CRS and, in so doing, complement our unique pairing of leading-edge technology with exceptional service and support."
