Olivier Poirot Joins Accor Worldwide Executive Committee

OCTOBER 21, 2008. On September 1, Gilles Pelisson, director and chief executive officer of Accor worldwide, announced the addition of four executives to the Accor Executive Committee. Olivier Poirot, former CFO of Accor UK Ltd. and current CEO of Accor North America and Motel 6/Studio 6, was appointed to the worldwide Accor Executive Committee, which oversees the company's services and portfolio of more than 3,800 hotels in 90 countries.
"To improve our ability to successfully meet the challenges of the future, I have decided, in agreement with the Board of Directors, to strengthen and enhance the Executive Committee," said Pelisson. "Olivier Poirot is joining the Executive Committee after an excellent start as head of Motel 6/Studio 6 for the United States, Canada and Mexico and of the Accor North America corporate functions."
