TynanGroup Appoints Phil Becker VP Hospitality Projects in Southern CA
SANTA BARBARA, CA, October 28, 2008. TynanGroup, Inc., a real estate development services firm, has announced the promotion of Phil Becker to Vice President. In his new role, Mr. Becker will be responsible for overseeing all TynanGroup hospitality project-related activities in the Southern California region.
Mr. Becker brings over 30 years of construction experience to TynanGroup and is well-respected by clients and colleagues alike for his acute understanding of the scope of administration for commercial, hotel, hospital, and public projects. Skilled in all aspects of project development, Mr. Becker is an asset to the TynanGroup team. From start to finish, Mr. Becker's expertise includes the management of bid and contract negotiations, design team selection and coordination, budget and schedule development, oversight of site inspections and project quality control.
Currently, Mr. Becker is overseeing the project management of the super-luxury, Resort at Pelican Hill, located on the Irvine Coast of California. Owned and operated by the Irvine Company, the much-anticipated opening of the resort will be in the fourth quarter of 2008.
In addition to The Resort at Pelican Hill, Mr. Becker's notable project accomplishments include the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport, the Hyatt at Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco, the Doubletree Hotel in Santa Clara, the Wyndham El Conquistador Resort and Country Club in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, and the Tucson Heart Hospital in Arizona.
