PORTSMOUTH, NH, October 29, 2008. Newmarket International, Inc., the leader in sales and catering solutions for the hospitality industry, today announced that David Miller has been selected to present at The eLearning Guild's DevLearn 2008 Conference & Expo taking place November 11-14, 2008 in San Jose.

Second Life is a virtual world used by Fortune 500 companies and over 250 universities to conduct meetings, training and other social interactions. Blending his passion for eLearning, a Master's in Education and his expertise in Second Life has resulted in a method that lends the richness of an immersive learning environment balanced with the realities of corporate eLearning. His approach combines rapid development with low cost to create a product that is more engaging for the eLearner and cost effective.

In addition to his Second Life presentation, Mr. Miller will be facilitating a broader session discussing the place of virtual worlds in corporate settings. As a shaper of "best practices" in the eLearning community, Mr. Miller also created the first video podcast interview for The eLearning Guild in which he is interviewed about his upcoming presentation.
