Campanile Hotels Showcase European Expansion at World Travel Market 2005

PARIS, France, October 14, 2005. Campanile, the French owned chain of 384 quality, budget hotels and restaurants, is set to celebrate it's 30th anniversary, taking place in 2006, at this years World Travel Market with the announcement of a series of new openings marking the expansion of the brand outside France.

For the first time ever Campanile will be exhibiting in the Global Village at World Travel Market, on stand GV6200, reflecting the groups strategy to expand more vigorously outside of the French market. Campanile will be celebrating new hotel openings in Poland, Italy, Spain and the UK.

Around 330 Campanile properties are in France, conveniently located at most main towns and near highways. Outside France Campanile hotels can be found in the UK, Poland, Belgium, Spain, Italy, The Netherlands, Portugal and Luxembourg. The total number of rooms is 24,000.

The new openings include several in France; one in Madrid - with another due to open soon after WTM; two openings in Poland in Lublin and Poznan - with building due to commence on another in Gdansk; one in Northampton, UK and one in Turin, Italy. World Travel Market will be the perfect launch for the hotels.

The UK Campanile sales team will be out in force headed up by sales director Douglas Whittaker, he said: "We will be actively promoting the new hotels at WTM and kicking off the celebrations for Campanile's 30th anniversary. Even with the expansion outside France our message remains that we offer a continued tradition of service and homely French style that is synonymous with the Campanile brand, within a contemporary environment that brings a fresh look and feel."

WTM will also be the official launchpad for Campanile's 2006 industry rates, which are presented in a new style directory. Douglas Whittaker said: "The new format is clearer and allows the trade to view hotels by region and we believe the industry will also find the rates very appealing!"

The company will host a daily buffet breakfast on the stand, which will offer a taster of the famous buffet dining experience available at Campanile hotels.

Campanile Hotels is part of the Louvre Hotels Group, which was created after the 2004 merger between Group Concorde, the prestigious collection of luxury hotels and Group Envergure, which consisted of Campanile, Kyriad Hotels and Premiere Classe (the most economical properties). These brands will also be exhibiting alongside Campanile at World Travel Market 2005.

Louvre Hotels representatives arriving from France for WTM include Yann Caillere, chief executive officer and Jean Francois Sautereau who is chief operating officer for the budget brand division.
