HSMAI's DFW Chapter Appoints 2009 Board of Directors
Windy Barnard Elected 2009 Chapter President
DALLAS, TX, December 3, 2008. The Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter of Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International started the season off with some major changes and announcements for 2009, headlined by the induction of its 2009 Board of Directors, the appointment of a new managing director and its decision to continue the support of EQUEST Therapeutic Horsemanship as its 2009 philanthropy.
The 2008-2009 board followed up the gala with an intense 2-day planning retreat at Garrett Creek Ranch to discuss changes and member enhancements in 2009.

HSMAI also announced the decision to continue its support of philanthropic partner, EQUEST Therapeutic Horsemanship, who, through an extensive Equestrian program, provides therapeutic sports riding classes and hippotherapy to children and adults with disabilities. HSMAI presented a check to EQUEST in 2008 for $6000 raised at its annual Chinese Auction, and the association plans to increase its donation in 2009 with new programs.
