Holiday Inn Santa Monica Hotel Nears End of Renovation
SANTA MONICA, CA, December 22, 2008. The Holiday Inn Santa Monica Hotel is happy to announce that it will be completing a property-wide multi-million dollar renovation early this January, 2009.
Already one of the most popular Southern California family hotels in Santa Monica, the award-winning Holiday Inn looks forward to offering guests a chic, modern choice in Santa Monica beach hotels.
The extensive renovation entails considerable redesign and upgrade to each of the 132 guestrooms. Guest comfort is of primary importance with new additions like Serta pillow-top mattresses, new carpeting, attractive wall vinyl and the plush, new Holiday Inn bedding package. Meanwhile, each room has been modernized with 32" flat-screen TVs, contemporary furniture and stylish hand-blown glass lamps. Detailed upgrades continue into the bathrooms where larger vanities and counters have been added along with curved shower rods and peek-through curtains for extra space and light visibility. The bathrooms now stock Garden Botanika spa products.
The Santa Monica hotel's renovations continue into the meeting facility and public spaces, including the elevators, guest corridors, lobby, restaurant and boardroom, with new carpeting, accent lighting and wall art to complement the revitalized look and feel of the guestrooms. Finally, the on-site fitness center will be equipped with a rubber floor, brand new circuit weight training machine, block of free weights and additional cardio equipment.
The thorough renovation was prompted in part by guest comments.
