Marriott to Open Fairfield Inn in Lakeland, FL
JANUARY 9, 2009 - Shaner Hotels has announced the opening of the 87-room Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Lakeland/Plant City, today January 9, 2009. Located off of County Line Road and I-4, the hotel will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned by Shaner Select Services Hotels II, LLC, of State College, PA. Shaner Hotels will manage the property.
This property represents the first opening of a five total hotel openings for the first quarter of 2009.
Located conveniently between Orlando and Tampa, the Fairfield Inn & Suites Lakeland offers guests convenient access to theme park attractions, shopping, dining and commercial centers.

While this is Cindy's first appointment working with Shaner, Cindy has been with Marriott for over 12 years, managing several properties in the Tampa area.
