US Hospitality and Uniguest Merge
Fill Vacancy in Hotel Concierge and Tourism Industry
NASHVILLE, TN, February 13, 2009 - U.S. Hospitality Publishers Inc., a Nashville-based provider of custom print publications to the hospitality industry, is pleased to announce a merger with Uniguest of Tennessee, Inc., an IT consulting firm with complementary IT products and services.
This merger represents the combination of experience and expertise of two leading companies in the hotel guest service industry. U.S. Hospitality Publishers Inc, founded in 1986, provides in-room guest directories to the hotel industry, while Uniguest of Tennessee, Inc., a seven-year-old company, software-protects and manages Internet Kiosks in the hotel industry. The new company will retain the name Uniguest.
According to Shawn Thomas, C.E.O. and 50/50 partner of the newly restructured company Uniguest, the merger will enhance existing products and services with the newly created product line for one-stop shop "local information," a strategy for providing guests with current and helpful local information to increase their comfort level. "As one company, we can bring our customers unique print and technology products and services and they only have to deal with one vendor."
The merger also indicates the future of how hotel guests will be able to get information when visiting a city. "When you go to a hotel and you want to know about where to eat, what to do, where to go, you're probably going to get that from several related sources: a computer in the lobby, the printed guide in your room, or from your mobile phone," said Mark Oldham, president and partner of the new company, Uniguest. By providing quality tourist information in different formats guests are better served.
Uniguest currently services over 2,500 hotels across America. For additional information, please visit www.uniguest.com.
