The premier luxury resort in the Napa Valley, Bardessono carefully blends the agrarian history of the land with modern architecture and style. MTM Luxury Lodging partnered with Bardessono's owners to develop their vision of a unique property that embraces the heritage of the valley, a commitment to environmental responsibility and at the heart of the operation - satisfying guests and their expectations.
Arriving Bardessono guests are greeted under the porte coch`ere by a hostess with a handheld tablet pc running a full version of the SMS|Host front office system via Citrix. Bardessono has chosen to forego the traditional front desk and lobby, the entire check-in process occurs while strolling to one of the 62 guest suites. The rooms feature personal touches for each guest, made possible with the robust Guest Profile capacity of SMS|Host.
Online reservations flow through the new SMS|World XA online booking engine which provides a seamless, single-screen reservations process. The resort is connected to MTM Luxury Lodging's CRS office via SMS|Enterprise which ensures that valuable guest details are made available to all properties within the MTM Luxury Lodging collection. Guest details obtained may include dining preferences, in-room entertainment preferences and desired in-room temperature.
Amongst the many green initiatives on property, there is a wide variety of XML interfaces. Through SMS|Diplomat, a Check-In Notification is sent to various vendors; the INNCOM Integration Room Automation System will open the electronic blinds, set the thermostat, and turn on the fireplace while Guest-tek and FCS are responsible for displaying the guests name on a welcome screen on the flat-screen television and I.P. phone.
