Josh Hinks named DOS Jolie Quest Hotels
MARCH 4, 2009 - Jolie Quest Hotels and Resorts is pleased to announce the appointment of Josh Hinks to the position of Director of Sales for the Los Angeles-based hotel management and development company. He brings over a decade of knowledge and understanding of the hospitality industry to Jolie Quest Hotels and has experience with hotels ranging from 73 to 700 rooms, and over 100,000 square feet of meeting space.
Prior to joining Jolie Quest, Hinks was Assistant Director of Sales at the Crowne Plaza in Ventura. There, Hinks worked on fostering integral relationships between clients and the City of Ventura, as well as developing a marketing and public relations action plan for the hotel.
Previous to the Crowne Plaza, Hinks was Senior Sales Manager at the Ventura Beach Marriot. There he increased group business, and was responsible for the corporate, association, government, sports, and tour and travel market segments, doubling the amount of association business to the hotel.
As the National Sales Manager of the Hilton Los Angeles, Hinks successfully developed the Southeast area of the United States, and was responsible for increasing revenues by 120 percent. Through his skillful leadership, Hinks united the Hilton sales team to ensure that goals were met while maintaining a productive and amiable relationship with all other departments.
Hinks got his start in the hospitality industry as the Corporate Sales Manager of the Clarion Ventura Beach. He went on to garner experience in the hotel business at such well-known brands as Hilton, Sheraton and Marriott.
Hinks brings a fresh and bold perspective to the Jolie Quest Team, inspiring and promoting untraditional thinking with every project in which he is involved.
