Windsor Court Announces Exec Chef, David Teich
NEW ORLEANS, LA, March 23, 2009 - General Manager of the Windsor Court Hotel, is pleased to announce the appointment of Drew Dzejak as Executive Chef of New Orleans' premier hotel.
As the new Executive Chef of the Windsor Court, Drew Dzejak joins the consistently awarded hotel from one of Orient-Express' most esteemed properties, Charleston Place, in Charleston, South Carolina, where he has had an illustrious career. Rising through the ranks, he most recently served as Chef de Cuisine for the hotel's award-winning Palmetto Caf'e, and several posts for their Thoroughbred Club, Room Service and the Spa Cuisine.
The Chef began his career as part of the culinary team who earned the exclusive Mobil Five Star, Five Diamond award for the Woodlands Resort and Inn in Summerville, South Carolina after graduating from Johnson and Wales University.
Prior to joining Charleston Place, Dzejak was Co- Chef at the Sienna Restaurant training under nationally acclaimed Executive Chef Ken Vedrinski and also joined nationally recognized Chef Dean Max opening a restaurant in Grand Cayman.
His new menu in the Mobil Four-Star and AAA Four Diamond Restaurant, The Grill Room, showcases innovative Contemporary American cuisine with Southern influences, local ingredients, and a unique concept of four culinary quadrants sure to provide an upscale dining experience - Southern, Unadulterated, Steakhouse and Indulge. In his new role with Windsor Court, Chef Dzejak is responsible for all menus in The Grill Room, Polo Club Lounge, Le Salon and Banquets.
