CHINA, Ocotber 24, 2005. Le M'eridien Hotels & Resorts has signed an agreement with China Resources Shimei Bay Tourism Development to manage Le M'eridien Shimei Bay Beach & Spa Resort, a 300-room, deluxe five star property currently under the final stage of planning and due to open end 2007.
Hainan Island is one of China and Asia's fastest growing beach destinations and Shimei Bay, on the south coast, is home to spectacular white sand beaches stretching over 5 km.
