ARDA Appoints Ron Goldberg to Board of Directors
MAY 5, 2009 - Wellington Financial recently announced its president, Ron Goldberg, has been invited to serve on the Board of Directors of the American Resort Development Association (ARDA), based in Washington, DC.
ARDA President and CEO Howard Nusbaum later discussed the appointment. "We are excited to have Ron Goldberg's expertise on our resort developer association board," says Nusbaum. "The present economic environment especially as it relates to the sluggish credit markets is a problem for any business which must access the capital markets for operational funds. Both Mr. Goldberg's and Wellington's expertise in this arena will add value to our Association dialogue as we work to secure more funding for timeshare."
The exclusive resort finance lending correspondent for Liberty Bank, Wellington Financial (www.wellington-financial.com) has been assisting in the financing of receivables, as well as the provision of acquisition and development financing, for timeshare resorts for more than 28 years. Because of his relationships with most of the major timeshare resort developers in the US, as well as his acuity in understanding and articulating trends, issues and developments in the resort industry, Goldberg is frequently sought out for interviews, speaking engagements and is, himself, a published writer.
