The Big Bus Company Launches in Baltimore
BALTIMORE, MD, November 1, 2005. The Big Bus Company has launched its open top sightseeing tours in Baltimore following the success of its first USA operation in Philadelphia. The famous London buses will tour the well-known sites and historic streets of Baltimore and its busy Eastern seaboard port. This tour will be the only open-air double decker sightseeing tour in Baltimore offering the best views of the city.
Baltimore, once home to Billie Holiday, Frank Zappa and Babe Ruth attracts 11 million visitors a year and the new live-guided tour with 14 hop on and hop off stops takes one hour and fifteen minutes to complete. It takes in all the major sites of the city including the world famous Maryland Zoo, the colourful inner harbour area and Fort McHenry.
The Big Bus Baltimore is the first franchised agreement to be granted by the company and five of the buses have already been sold to the franchise agent, Jim McDonald.
