Status Update of Occidental Hotels & Resorts Properties in Mexico Following Hurricane Wilma
MEXICO, November 4, 2005. After conducting a detailed assessment of the condition of its properties in Mexico following hurricane Wilma, Occidental Hotels & Resorts announced today that its six resorts in Cancun, Playacar and Cozumel are scheduled to reopen as follows:
January 31, 2006:
o Occidental Grand Cozumel
o Allegro Cozumel
o Allegro Playacar
The reopening dates of Royal Hideaway Playacar and Occidental Grand Xcaret are still pending. However, these properties will not reopen prior to January 31, 2006.
Caribbean Village Cancun: This property is scheduled to reopen during the last quarter of 2006.
