CSM Lodging's Marriott Minneapolis West Awarded Marriott's Conversion of the Year

MINNEAPOLIS, November 7, 2005. CSM Lodging has been awarded as the Marriott Hotels & Resorts Conversion of the Year for its Marriott Minneapolis West hotel at the 2005 Marriott International North American Conference. The award was presented to honor the quality of the new Marriott hotel and the excellence of the hotel staff during the conversion.

"CSM Lodging specializes in the renovation and conversion of hotels in strong travel markets across the U.S. and our company is honored to be recognized for our first full-service hotel conversion" said Robert Dann, president of CSM Lodging. "Marriott has been a strong brand in our portfolio, which now includes two full-service Marriott hotels, and we will continue the partnership as we expand into new markets."

The Marriott Minneapolis West, formerly the Holiday Inn West, underwent a full-scale renovation which included all guest rooms, common areas, conference facilities and dining areas. The new full-service, upscale hotel and meeting facility boasts eight conference rooms with state-of-the-art technology, 13,000 square-feet of flexible meeting space, and large, stylish guest rooms with luxurious bedding and linens.
