Cindy Reed Named Corporate Director of Sales for Rolling Oaks Hospitality
SPRINGFIELD, MO, November 11, 2005. Lonnie Funk, founder and president of Springfield, Mo. based Rolling Oaks Hospitality, Inc., today announced that Cindy Reed has joined the company as Corporate Director of Sales. Reed will be responsible for overseeing corporate sales at the new Comfort Suites, currently under construction, the Krystal Aire Inn & Suites, which are owned by Drury Properties, Inc., and the Sleep Inn Hotel owned by Tri-Star L.L.C. in Springfield. These hotels are managed by Rolling Oaks Hospitality.
Reed has 25 years' experience in Springfield's hotel and hospitality industry, most recently serving as sales account manager for the Sheraton Hawthorn Park Hotel. She has also held Director of Sales positions with the Springfield, Mo. Exposition Center and the Residence Inn by Marriott. She has also held the Director of Sales positions with the Courtyard by Marriott and the Holiday Inn - North.
Reed holds a bachelor of science in business administration degree from Central Methodist College in Fayette, Mo. She serves on the Sales Awareness Committee of the Springfield Convention & Visitors Bureau and is a member of the Greater Ozarks Chapter of Business & Professional Women, earning "Chapter Member of the Year" honors for 2005-2006.
