Park Plaza Hotels & Resorts in the UK Appoints Key Executives
UNITED KINGDOM, November 28, 2005. Rachel Tooley has been appointed Specialist Sales Manager UK, focusing on building relationships with and driving business from key players in predominately the leisure and also specialist fair and exhibitions sectors. Rachel has a wealth of experience in the leisure field, having worked most recently with UK Inbound Operator AC Tours as Products & Contracts Manager and previously at Interopa Holidays and JAC Travel.
Michelle Steyn joins Park Plaza Hotels from Chelsea Village as Revenue Manager, London. Michelle will oversee strategy, pricing and yield management for the brands' current portfolio of London hotels - Riverbank Park Plaza, Victoria Park Plaza and the Sherlock Holmes Hotel, by Park Plaza - as well as develop and implement pricing and revenue policies for the forthcoming County Hall Park Plaza (2008) and Westminster Bridge Park Plaza (2010), opening well in advance of the 2012 Olympics. Prior to Chelsea Village, Michelle was Group Revenue Manager for the Savoy Group and Senior Revenue Management Consultant for Optims, a European leader in Revenue Management.

Michelle Pegg, previously with the 4-star deluxe Chesterfield Mayfair Hotel in London, has been appointed Sales Manager, National Accounts UK and joins a team of 6 headed by Marie-Clair Nash, Director of National Accounts UK. Michelle brings expert knowledge of the industry from her extensive conference, corporate and consortia sales background.
In addition, Chris Davis, previously Sales Manager Meetings & Events UK, has recently been promoted to Director of Sales at Park Plaza Nottingham. Chris has been with Park Plaza Hotels for 3 years, having worked in key regional positions covering Meetings & Events and Specialist Event sales.
