The new Rosarito condo-hotel project will replace 40 garden rooms and will provide an additional luxurious option to hotel guests. Those who buy the units have the option of living there full time or having the hotel rent out their unit when they are not using it.

Owners can take full advantage of all hotel amenities, including maid and room service, gourmet restaurant and European spa. 'You can go away to your vacation home and really be pampered,' said Laura Torres, vice president of the hotel.

The Rosarito Beach Condo Hotel has been designed by Hermosillo Associados, Baja's largest architecture and construction company, and Eduardo Junco, one of Mexico's leading architects. said project director Somit Talwar.

The 230-room Rosarito Beach Hotel, initially the luxurious home of the founding family, opened to the public in 1925 as a hunting lodge on a beautiful stretch of sandy beach, with 12 rooms and one lavatory. It flourished during the 30's when Hollywood stars, European royalty and Mexican presidents mingled by its famed pool and Beachcomber Bar.

Since then, it has grown into a full-service resort whose guests have included Marilyn Monroe and Frank Sinatra. The hotel features a European Spa, gourmet and casual restaurants, oceanfront bars, sport facilities, concierge, room service, botanical garden, wireless internet, and oceanfront suites and rooms with breathtaking views.
