Hawaii's Big Island Sets Sights on Tourism Industry "Erupting" in 2006

HAWAII, December 21, 2005. The Big Island Visitors Bureau is pleased to announce the public relations team of Novom Marketing and the advertising agency Bates/Lees Advertising will represent the island in 2006.
Headed by President Charlotte Novom, Novom Marketing is an integrated hotel and tourism marketing and public relations firm, with expertise in providing winning marketing programs for hotels, resorts, conference centers, destinations, shopping centers and related travel and tourism clients. In 1998, Novom combined forces with the prestigious hospitality marketing firm of Yesawich, Pepperdine, Brown & Russell, based in Orlando, Florida. Novom is situated in Los Angeles, Calif., and serves as the West Coast office for YPB&R, providing services to international, national and local accounts. Some of Novom Marketing's current clients include Montecito Property Company based in Jacksonville, Fla.; Paraiso de la Bonita in the Riviera Maya, Mexico; Pueblo Bonito Hotels & Resorts with seven distinct properties throughout Mexico and Destination Hotels & Resorts, a collection of 34 independent, luxury hotels and resorts throughout the United States.
At Novom Marketing, veteran television producer and public relations executive Keely Baribeau directs the Big Island's public relations efforts, supported by Account Executive Janel Moncada.
Bates/Lee Advertising will soon be celebrating 25 years of advertising excellence in Hawaii. Lead by Creative Director Bob Bates, the Bates/Lee team will feature Jennifer Thompson as account director and Theresa Lo as account executive representing Hawaii's Big Island. Bates/Lee prides itself on its ability to function as an integrated business, communications and marketing partner for each of its unique clients.
