The Fairmont Newport Beach Appoints Carol Vail as Director of Sales and Marketing
NEWPORT BEACH, CA, December 20, 2005. The Fairmont Newport Beach has recently named Carol Vail to the position of Director of Sales and Marketing. In her new position, Ms. Vail will be responsible for developing and implementing all sales, marketing and service oriented programs for guests and corporate clients.
Carol brings a wealth of Sales and Marketing experience in the hospitality industry to this position. She was most recently the Director of Sales & Marketing of the AAA Five Diamond Fairmont Scottsdale Princess. Previous experience includes 10 years with Westin Hotels & Resorts (Century Plaza, Arizona Biltmore, Westin South Coast Plaza and Westin Maui), as well as Disneyland Hotel, Doral Golf Resort & Spa and La Costa Resort & Spa. She was named Hotel Sales Person of the Year by HelmsBriscoe at their July 2005 annual Business Convention in Las Vegas.
