. October 14, 2008

DECEMBER 29, 2005. Worldspan and Calleo Distribution Technologies are jointly launching comprehensive travel IT services for travel agencies in the Indian Sub-Continent.

Beginning in January 2006, travel agencies in the Indian Sub-Continent will gain access to Worldspan's total travel management and e-commerce solutions, including real-time interface to the Worldspan global distribution system (GDS). Calleo holds exclusive distribution rights for Worldspan products for these markets. Its team will provide sales, IT consulting, service and support to travel agencies choosing Worldspan as their primary travel technology provider.

Calleo has created a fully equipped facility in Qutab Institutional Area in New Delhi to manage a travel agency help desk, and training and networking requirements to service and grow agency customers.

"Travel is a substantial segment of these markets' economies, where overall outbound, inbound and domestic travel are on the rise. This trend, combined with our region's profile as a major center of information technology, creates both demand and opportunity for travel agencies to conduct business using the most advanced solutions," said J.B. Singh, director and chief executive officer for Calleo.

"Travel agencies in the Indian Sub-Continent face the same challenges as their counterparts throughout the world. To compete and grow, they must diversify and increase their offerings, and this means providing travelers with greater choice and superior service. Worldspan's technologies and e- commerce leadership, combined with Calleo's staff of expert sales, service and support professionals, will ensure agencies have all the advantages they need to succeed," said Mike Parks, Worldspan senior vice president - Worldwide Travel Distribution.
