ARAMARK Harrison Lodging Announces Alliance with Chief Learning Officer Magazine
Leading conference center operator aligns with top publication for Fortune 500 learning officers
PHILADELPHIA, PA, January 10, 2006. ARAMARK Harrison Lodging, a leader in the conference and corporate training centers industry, today announced it has signed an unprecedented strategic alliance with Chief Learning Officer (CLO), the industry's preeminent publication for Fortune 500 corporate learning officers.
"Our partnership with CLO is an innovative step to get in front of large volume meeting users in the corporate learning environment," explained Jeff Weggeman, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, ARAMARK Harrison Lodging. "We have been planning successful training and learning events at our conference center properties for years, and we believe it's a huge growth market now that the top corporate learning officers are realizing the critical role venue plays in achievement of overall training objectives."
The partnership is the first-ever deal of its kind for both ARAMARK Harrison Lodging and CLO. Under the new marketing partnership, CLO, a fast-growing magazine and affiliated Web site focused on the business of executive training and learning, will provide ARAMARK Harrison Lodging with access to readers and attendees at the publication's semi-annual symposiums, events and online forums -- as both participants and key sponsors. In addition, ARAMARK Harrison Lodging will have the opportunity to contribute white papers on the CLOmedia.com site and the ability to host e-Seminars and CLO events at ARAMARK Harrison Lodging properties in 2006.
Norm Kamikow, editor-in-chief of Chief Learning Officer magazine said, "We are delighted ARAMARK Harrison Lodging has chosen to partner with our media properties. We feel our partnership will bring extended value to our executive audience and enable them to fully understand the benefits ARAMARK Harrison Lodging can contribute to their learning programs."
Weggeman believes the partnership also will give ARAMARK Harrison Lodging a critical advantage in learning how to better serve the training market. "From our point of view, the best way to improve our services to the corporate learning market is by increasing our interaction with these learning professionals by participating in their forums, sitting at their tables and using what we learn to adjust to their needs."
