Westin Chicago Helps Travelers With Resolutions
CHICAGO, IL, January 23, 2006. The Westin Chicago River North has two new programs designed to assist travelers with two common New Year's resolutions, giving up smoking and working out regularly.
With the New Year's Smoke Out program, the hotel will reward travelers who kick the nicotine habit with a one-day pass to the WestinWORKOUT Powered by Reebok Gym or a WestinWORKOUT tee shirt. Additionally, the hotel's sundries shop will off products to help smokers beat cravings including Nicorette gum, patches and an inhaler.
Guests who turn in a pack of cigarettes at check-in from now until April 30, 2006 will qualify for the Smoke Out program.
The other new program at the Westin Chicago River North is called No Excuse Workouts. This program loans tee shirts, shorts, socks and gym shoes for those who forgot to pack workout clothes. The hotel's WestinWORKOUT fitness center offers a licensed personal trainer who will provide health assessments and individualized programs and also develop fitness regiments for guests to do at home.
Westin Hotels & Resorts no longer allows smoking within the guestrooms or public areas of its hotels. That policy became effective Jan. 1, 2006.
