New Appointments at Accor Hotels
BANGKOK, Thailand, June 21, 2005. Accor Asia Pacific is pleased to announce the following appointments in Thailand and Indonesia.
Jean-Paul Fontenille has been appointed General Manager of Novotel Suvarnabhumi Airport Bangkok. Jean-Paul started with Accor more than 27 years ago in Gabon, later moving to Asia in 1988. He has also managed Accor hotels in Hong Kong, China, Australia, Korea and Tokyo, and most recently was on special assignment to Novotel Clarke Quay in Singapore.
Stanley Chan is the new General Manager at Grand Mercure Fortune Hotel Bangkok. Stanley joined Accor in 1992 as Resident Manager of Novotel Siam Square and then relocated to China in 1999. He was most recently General Manager of Sofitel Zhengzhou in China.
Erwann Mahe has been appointed General Manager of Panwa Beach Resort in Phuket. Erwann joined Accor in 1998 at the Novotel Senart in France and later spent helped open and spent two years Sofitel Houston in the US. He was most recently Executive Assistant Manager, Sofitel Khao Lak.
Fabrice Mini is the new General Manager at Novotel Yogyakarta in Indonesia. Fabrice joined Accor in 1996 and worked at the Hotel Ibis Charles de Gaulle Airport in
Paris before relocating to Indonesia a year later. His last posting was General Manager of Hotel Ibis Mangga Dua and Apartments.
Antoine Villette has taken over the position of General Manager, Hotel Ibis Mangga Dua and Apartments. Antoine has been with Accor for 13 years and also worked at Charles de Gaulle Airport with the Sofitel Hotel there. His most recent assignment was at the Hotel Ibis Paris Pont de Suresnes.
Tony Adrianto has been promoted from Resident Manager to General Manager of Mercure Kuta Bali Hotel. Tony joined Accor in Indonesia in 1999 and prior to his post in Bali he was Resident Manager of the Ibis Malioboro in Yogyakarta.
Teuku Rusiansyah is the new General Manager of Hotel Ibis Rajawali Surabaya. Teuku joined Accor in 1996 where he was Executive Assistant Manager of two Novotel hotels in Indonesia. His most recent assignment was General Manager of Tanjung Lesung Resort.
