Three Pacifica Hotels Undergo Renovations
Property Improvements Coincide with Branding Campaign
SANTA BARBARA, CA, February 22, 2006. Pacifica Hotel Company (PHC), which owns and manages California hotels from San Francisco to San Diego, will complete renovation of three of its hotels, dovetailing with a brand-awareness campaign aimed at driving business from the leisure and meetings markets.
A $1.5 million complete renovation of the 87-suite Pacifica Suites in Santa Barbara, scheduled for completion in March 2006, includes guest rooms, corridors, lobby, and meeting rooms. Design features will produce a plantation-like ambiance that complements the hotel's sprawling gardens and backdrop of the Santa Ynez Mountains. The Pacifica Suites Hotel centers on the Victorian-era Sexton House, which offers elegant meeting rooms.
The $800,000 refurbishment of the 80-room Half Moon Bay Lodge, 30 minutes from San Francisco and the Silicon Valley, now complete, added new bedding, draperies, carpet, and artwork to guest rooms. Meeting rooms overlook the award winning 36-hole Half Moon Bay Golf Links originally designed by Arnold and Duane Palmer. The $1.5 million renovation of the 97-room, ocean front Lighthouse Hotel in Pacifica, Calif., to be completed in April 2006, focuses on guest rooms and lobby.
