J'er^ome Dupont Appointed GM of the American Colony Hotel
ISRAEL, February 23, 2006. The American Colony Hotel team announces that Mr. J'er^ome Dupont has joined the management team as the new General Manager, of the world famous American Colony Hotel.
The Hotel has been providing its luxurious hospitality services for more than 120 years to many renowned guests from all walks of life. In addition to being voted 'Best Hotel in the Middle East' for two consecutive years (2003-2004) by Cond'e Nast Traveler magazine, the hotel has also been nominated for the prestigious 'World Travel Award' 2004, as 'Best Hotel in Israel'.
Mr. Dupont is 30 years old and originally from Switzerland. His previous post was with the Lausanne Palace in Switzerland that is managed by Jean Jacques Gauer. Mr. Dupont has been working since 10 years for Gauer Hotels, and has worked for many years for the Hotel Schweizerhof in Bern.
