Celadon Sets up Five-star Hotel in Hue
HUE, Vietnam, February 27, 2006. Celadon International Hotels, a newborn hotel management company in Vietnam, plans to open a five-star hotel worth $20 million in Hue this May .
The group is being led by the former director of the Danang Furama Resort. The new hotel -- the Hue Celadon -- will be promoted at ITB this year. Celadon International Hotels is a tourism marketing and management corporation founded in Ho Chi Minh City in late 2005, specializing in new tourism markets like Vietnam, China and Cambodia.
Paul Stoll, former general director of Danang Furama Resort and one of the hotels founders, said the Hue Celadon hotel would try to establish a new tourism benchmark for Hue and for the hotel management company.
"The 19-floor hotel with 238 rooms near the Cultural House of Hue will attract new business segments to this beautiful city with its abundance of history and culture," Stoll said, adding that the new establishment will also facilitate tourists visiting the old capital for the fourth Hue festival from June 3-11.
Appealing to businessmen and high-class travellers, the Hue Celadon will have six-star standard rooms, and the rest will be of five-star standard. In addition, there will be a 500-seat conference section, a spa and recreation center, a Chinese restaurant, a Vietnamese club and cafe.
