Shangri-La Gets Head of Comms
SYDNEY, Australia, March 7, 2006. Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney has appointed Gabrielle Brewer as Director of Communications. Gabrielle has extensive experience in public relations and marketing communications in Australia and overseas and joins the group from Tourism New South Wales. In her new position she will drive the Public Relations and Advertising campaigns for Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney currently the leading five-star deluxe hotel in the city. Before joining Shangri-La, Ms Brewer worked at Tourism New South Wales on delivering a year-round PR program to promote one of Australia's strongest tourism brands, Sydney. She managed a wide range of campaigns and worked closely with a cross-section of tourism industry operators, including hotels.
