Krisam Appoints Directors of Sales, Opens Offices in Southeast, Southern California

Debra Edwards Leads New Atlanta Office, Yolanda Hormozi Heads Up Southern California

Washington, DC, March 7, 2006. Krisam Group, the top independent national sales office for hotels, announced that Debra Edwards has been appointed Director of Sales to open Krisam's new Atlanta sales office. Yolanda Hormozi has been appointed Director of Sales to open Krisam's new sales office in Southern California. Along with their roles at Krisam, Edwards and Hormozi will also serve as regional representatives for Krisam's sister company, Global Events Partners (GEP), a worldwide partnership of destination management companies. Both new offices are open and working to support Krisam's members and clients.

In their roles, Edwards and Hormozi have responsibility for the two organizations' sales, client service and management functions throughout the southeast and Southern California regions, respectively. Both Edwards and Hormozi's appointments are effective immediately.

About Debra Edwards

Debra Edwards brings more than fifteen years of management experience in the hospitality and meetings and events industry. Since 2003, she was with Monumental Meetings - Business Development Division, assisting the team in exceeding the company's annual revenue goals and profitability, as well as securing numerous new accounts. In the hospitality industry, she held positions as the Director of Sales and Director of Catering and Meeting Services at the Wyndham, Atlanta, and as Senior Catering Manager at the Westin Peachtree Plaza. From 1992 through 1996, she owned and operated Parties Express, a Los Angeles-based catering company with annual revenues exceeding $2 million. In that role, she managed 23 employees, and supervised sales, operational and administrative responsibility for the entire company.

About Yolanda Hormozi

Yolanda E. Hormozi brings more than 20 years of multidisciplinary experience in sales, marketing and leadership in the hospitality industry. Most recently, she was National Sales Manager at the Balboa Bay Club & Resort, San Diego. Prior to that, she served Associate Director of Sales at the Hilton San Diego Mission Valley. She has also held management positions at the Embassy Suites, La Jolla, and the Hilton San Diego Resort. She is a graduate of the Baptist College, South Carolina, with a degree in Hotel and Business Management.
