Benoit Anger New MD of Club Med UK, Ireland & Scandinavia

LONDON, UK, March 10, 2006. Benoit Anger, 35, currently general manager of Club Med, Switzerland, has been appointed managing director of Club Med's UK, Irish and Scandinavian operations (it is announced this week, ending March 11). To be based at the Club Med Putney UK head office, Frenchman Mr Anger will take over in early April from Chris Woodbridge-Cox, who moves to Frankfurt as Club Med managing director, Germany.

Benoit Anger joined Club Mediterranee in 2000 as chief financial officer in Switzerland, before becoming general manager in 2002. He has also been a French foreign trade advisor since 2003.

With vast business experience in marketing, strategy and finance, Benoit Anger is a qualified management accountant with a master's degree from the Ecole Superieure de Commerce du Havre. Anger started his career in financial administration in the Middle East oil and gas industry, based in Dubai, before entering the tourism industry with Club Med in 2000.

"There is a growing interest in the UK, Ireland and the Scandinavian markets for a more sophisticated tour operator product and it will be an exciting challenge to further develop these very important markets for the Total All-inclusive Club Med brand." said Benoit Anger.

Born in Le Havre, Benoit is married with one child, and enjoys golf, American literature and the occasional cigar.
